Wuppertal University is one of Germany's most distinguished research institutions in lattice gauge theory. Among the interests of the local lattice group are: thermodynamics of quarks and gluons, chiral fermions, CP violation, quark masses, Higgs physics and extra dimensions. There exists a close collaboration with John von Neumann institute for Computing (NIC) and the Forschungszentrum Jülich.
Another main interest of the high energy theory group is the computer-algebra assisted computation of Feynman graphs, in particular for Higgs physics and supersymmetry.
